Sadhvi Ritambhara, a Hindu extremist, known for her anti-Muslim stance has been invited to the United States of America by Hindu organizations including the Hindu Swayamsewak Sangh (HSS), which is the international wing of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) is the US counterpart of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) India.
Ritambhara will deliver a series of satsangs and pravachans (religious gatherings and discourses) on August 30th and 31th, 2022 in the country.
The extremist preacher whose speeches have been described as “the single most powerful instrument for whipping up anti-Muslim violence,” is a leader of the VHP, one of India’s largest Hindu nationalist organizations, described as a “militant religious outfit” by the CIA.
Rithambara was present during the demolition, cheering on the mob from the Masjid’s terrace. She was arrested three days after the destruction for stirring communal animosity.
In 2003, India’s top intelligence agency designated Ritambhara as one of eight figures responsible for instigating rioting and violence against Muslims, culminating in her presence at the 1992 destruction of the Babri Masjid by a Hindu extremist mob.
