New Delhi: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (M) Wednesday demanded that the Makkah Masjid blast case re-investigated under the supervision of the Supreme Court and it should be made public under what circumstances the NIA Special court judge resigned after delivering the verdict.
In his reaction to the verdict in the Makkah Masjid blast case acquitting alleged RSS members, Maulana Mahmood Madani, General Secretary, JUH, said it distressing to the families who lost their dear and near ones in the blast carried out just after the Friday prayer.
“It has been my stand that the investigating agencies are not working sincerely in dealing with terror related cases. They have failed to unravel truth about major terror cases. Our fight against terrorism is collective efforts irrespective of religion, caste and creed etc. Therefore, it is pressing need that the agencies must be made accountable for ensuring transparency and honesty while investigating such cases” said, Maulana Madani.
He also sought public clarification about under which circumstances the NIA Court Judge quit barely after the verdict.
