Tehran : The Israeli regime has admitted that some 2,855 of its military forces have been injured in the clashes with Palestinian resistance fighters in more than four months of war on Gaza.
The Israeli media said in reports on Monday that some 1,326 troops have been injured since the beginning of the Israelis’ ground operation in Gaza on October 17.
Reports showed that some 343 Israeli military forces are still hospitalized with 27 out of them in critical condition.
Sources affiliated to the regime said early on Monday that two Israeli soldiers had been killed in clashes in southern Gaza.
The Israeli regime’s Channel 12 also said in a report that the two service members had been killed in an attack by Palestinian fighters that involved the use of armor-piercing bullets.
The regime’s army announced that three soldiers had also been been injured in clashes in southern Gaza, saying they are in critical condition.
The Israeli regime’s army has acknowledged that some 566 of its officers and soldiers have been killed since the start of the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023. That comes as independent sources believe that over 3,000 Israeli military forces have been killed in the clashes with Palestinians. — IRNA
