Islamabad: Militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) refuted the allegations of attack on Indian Consulate in Herat , Afghanistan and said that no cadre of LeT is present in Afghanistan.
The report comes a day after Afghan President Hamid Karzai accused Lashkar-e-Toiba of being behind last week’s attack by gunmen on an Indian diplomatic mission in Afghanistan. The Afghanistan President did not name the agency, which gave a written report to the Afghanistan government in this regard. News agency UNI quoted LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi saying to CNS on phone that the sole motive of LeT is to free Kashmir from Indian occupation. He further said that LeT has kept its activities limited to Jammu and Kashmir only. He also condemned the attack on Indian consulate in Heart.
