Riyadh : Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Saturday reiterated that the kingdom does not charge any fee for the issuance of Umrah or Hajj visas.
Al Riyadh Arabic newspaper quoted the ministry as saying via its Twitter account: “Important Notice: Saudi Arabia does not charge any fee for the issuance of Umrah or Hajj visas. They are issued for free by all the embassies of the Kingdom.”—AB/IINA
Very good. But Why then individual is not authorized to apply
for these visas. Why They appoint Agents to loot people.
Let them be fair & help all people of Islamic faith.
If issuing of visas for gadj and umrah is free why do we as south Africans have to pay a processing fee of R2000, please advise on my email address
Can I apply online for a Visa?
If issuing of visas for gadj and umrah is free why do we as south Africans have to pay a processing fee of R2000???
In South Africa we have to pay agents R1800/R2000… So, it is not free! Unless Saudi Arabia grants individuals to apply for visas through the Saudi Arabian embassy or some other way, online applications for example… But instead that “free” us usurped by allowing the travel agent exclusive control over the visa application… So no, It ain’t free!
If umrah visas are free please advise why does Saudi Government give visas to companies in Saudi who then sells the Umrah visas. Umrah visas being sold to South Africa at 100 dollars each and then to top it off we have to pay admin and courier payments to secure visa in S.A.
This visas are not free so stop the dishonesty. The money racket on visas starts in Saudi
The Umrah visas currently in S.A is R2200
Unfortunately all Saudi Visas have to be processed by Saudi approved travel agents and this causes endless strife for the intending pilgrim since we are at the mercy of travel agents. I cannot understand why we are unable to go on line and fill out the visa application form, get a pre approval and then submit the application form with the passport to the nearest embassy.
I would like to take my wife with to perform hadj. I am currently living and working in Saudi Arabia. My wife is in South Africa and would accreditation in order to do so. How can I perform had with my wife. It’s more easily accessible for me to do so from Saudi Arabia but my wife wouldn’t be allowed to. What are the steps and people I need to contact in order to arrange this. We would like to perform had in 2017 in sha Allah.
Your advice and guidance is greatly appreciated.
