New Delhi, 8 Nov 2014 : Israel’s former President Shimon Peres, who is on a visit to India, called Congress President Sonia Gandhi at her residence here Saturday but what transpired between them was not known. The party described the meet in a terse communiqué as a courtesy call.
After the advent of the BJP government at the Center, Israeli leaders are coming to India frequently. Israeli leader is here to launch a tri-lateral dialogue on food and water security involving India, Israel and Australia. After retirement from active politics Peres has been spearheading the Peres Centre for Peace, an NGO that works in the field of Healthcare, Peace Education and Science & Technology in a world with shrinking natural resources. Peres visit coincided with the visit of Indian Home minister Rajnath Singh to Israel. It is the first visit of an Indian home minister to Israel since June 2000 when LK Advani visited Jerusalem, marking an upsurge in bilateral cooperation. BJP’s elevation to power has generated a lot of enthusiasm in Israel as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was among the first world leader to call Narendra Modi to congratulate him on his victory in the general elections.
No wonder who financed BJPs election Campaign. Sangh parivar & its Regressive branch RSS has been trying to forge a strong alliance with Israel since its formation to form an anti-Islamic front & have been succeed. Frequent visits & dialogue exchanges simply testify this barbaric alliance. But they fail to realise that truth can never be burnt nor can be burried nor it can be suppressed or eliminated & the just truth is ISLAM
