New Delhi, June 6 : The Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan (BMMA) on Monday said it will use the holy month of Ramadan to step up its campaign to ban triple talaq and “nikah halala”
“We (appeal) to the Muslim community to do a good deed by supporting the campaign for abolition as a contribution to the lives of their sisters,” a statement by the group said.
“As part of this campaign, we will release a story daily about a Muslim woman who has suffered triple talaq. She will herself narrate her story which will be uploaded daily on our Facebook page. We will seek the help and support of the community to end this ill practice,” it said. —IANS
I strongly support muslim sisters to ban triple talaq. BMMA should also run campaign against Hijab enforcement.
What is currently happening is, family forces muslim girl to wear hijab from age 6.. so that she gets habituated to it. She feels unsafe if she does not wear it. Hence she remains in hijab for whole life.
I think muslim women should not wear hijab till the age 18. After 18 she should have freedom to wear hijab or not. In such case I believe 99% women will not wear it.
My Dear Secular Hindu,
I wish to make you very clear that Islamic laws were not made on imagination and those laws were not man made. It is our believe and let us have it. You may choose your way whether to go to hell or heaven. We as Muslims always choose the way to go to heaven as the ISLAM was built on very strong five pillars and we are under that cover as we know it will never collapse.
I do not know whether muslims will go to hell or heaven. However, you are making this earth hell for women.
My Dear Secular Hindu,
Our intention is to take every one to heaven as we all are human beings. But some are adamant and choose their own way for no reason.
My Dear Friend, You have to accept one thing whether it is bitter or not, that we as Muslims have very strong believe in our religion Islam and it teach us to teach others to follow the correct path to get a final results as heaven. Therefore how can you tell us that we are making this earth hell for women. For the believers, this earth is only to cultivate in order to get a good harvest for the other world.
Hindus do not wish to go Heaven because in Hindu religion reaching heaven is considered as an average progress in human life. Hindu philosophy teaches to go further & achieve ‘Moksha’ (Salvation).
